All the senior members of the State Department management team resigned, en masse. Just. Walked. Out.
One of them, Patrick Kennedy, had been in his position since the G. W. Bush Administration. These are all career diplomats, mind you. Kennedy had been trying to keep his job, until today. Tillerson (R-Exxon-Mobil) had to have done something to piss these people off like that. I'm hoping for a news message from Kennedy...and one that embarrasses the hell out of #OrangeFoolius and company.
WTF are these incompetent asshats doing over there? First the disaster of a speech at the CIA, now this. Holy shit!

ReplyDeleteThat's terrifying news. The State Department is arguably the most powerful department in the Federal Government, and the Secretary of State is definitely the second most important job after the President.

That's exactly what he said he was going to do to the GOP if they didn't change course and worship him, and it's exactly what he is doing to the country, now that he is President.
